Experience meets Innovation
Throughout the years, we've gathered a sizeable portfolio that covers a variety of engineering projects. Presented below are a few notable examples.
'Marina Dinevi'
2005 | Sveti Vlas, Bulgaria
Tags: Coastal engineering; Structural engineering; Design
Sveti Vlas' 'Marina Dinevi' is the focal point of the small but cosy beach town. The marina was designed in 2005 by ir. Marinov and was completed in 2007, sporting a capacity of ca. 250 recreational vessels of various sizes. The project won the coveted Bentley international design award in its category in 2005.
'Vasil Levski' Boulevard
2017 | Varna, Bulgaria
Tags: Geotechnical engineering; Structural engineering; Design
The construction of the 'Vasil Levski' boulevard is among the largest and most demanding infrastructure projects the city of Varna has undertaken in the past decade. The new trans-city expressway aims to tackle Varna's worsening traffic while also providing an unobstructed transit line for tourists travelling between the airport and the beach resorts to the north of the city. Project Troy designed a total of 2 km of retaining walls along the main track of the boulevard, and their subsequent cladding.
Pier ‘Morski Rai' reconstruction
2018 | Sts. Constantine and Helena, Bulgaria
Tags: Coastal engineering; Structural engineering; Design
'Sts. Constantine and Helena' is Bulgaria's first coastal resort, and is currently experiencing a bit of a renaissance, at the heart of which is the ongoing rejuvenation of functional and recreational coastal infrastructure. One example is the recently renovated 'Morski rai' pier where we implemented a clever design solution to avoid all costly off-land operations.
Fishing harbour ‘Karantinata’
2017 | Varna, Bulgaria
Tags: Coastal engineering; Structural engineering; Design
A key project for Varna's Asparuhovo district is the 'Karantinata' fishing harbour which aims to both improve fish processing and storage conditions, and provide additional recreational area for the public. Harbour design is courtesy of Project Troy, and construction of the harbour will end in 2020.
Fishing harbour ‘Kraimorie’
2017 г. | Burgas, Bulgaria
Tags: Coastal engineering; Structural engineering; Design
The small fishing harbour in Burgas' Kraimorie district is a key project for the city, setting the first steps towards modernizing and popularizing the area for fishing and recreational use. The harbour was officially opened to the public in late 2019, marking the project's successful completion. The harbour and hinterland are designed by Project Troy.
